At this time, Another Second Chance offers individual counseling, group counseling. We will also be adding case management and peer support services in the near future. Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing personalized care for your recovery journey using Evidenced Based Practices with a faith based approach.
Scheduling an appointment at Another Second Chance is simple. You can visit the “Schedule appt.” page on our website and schedule an appointment. You can also call us directly and speak with our caring staff or send us an email at the “contact us” button above.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please contact us for specific hours on weekends and holidays.
At this time, Another Second Chance works with individuals 18 years old and older.
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It takes strength to ask for help. Your recovery is your responsibility but you don’t have to do it alone. Remember, recovery is a “we” thing.
Medication can be effective and sometimes needed in conjunction with therapy. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) treats the physical symptoms allowing the individual to receive the maximum benefit from Behavioral Health Services (counseling). At ASC, we work with you to address the underlying issues and develop strategies to resolve them. By addressing old, unhealthy, distorted thinking and behaviors, as well as facing your emotions, you are able to process both in new and healthy ways, allowing you to heal and grow.
Treatment is tailored to an individuals specific needs. ASC does not operate with a one size fits all approach. However, ASC does, through evidenced based practices, help address and change the thinking that created the problem in the first place.
Each individuals situation is unique. Therapy can vary in length depending on each person’s specific needs, goals and desires.
At this time, we only work with individuals who live in the State of Ohio.
ASC understands life happens. To overcome these types of barriers, ASC offers telehealth services. We also offer in-person counseling for those that would prefer or for those that are in crisis. Our office is located in Arcadia, Ohio between Findlay and Fostoria. Please see our interactive map on the contact us page. If you are unable to attend either in person or telehealth, ASC requires a 24 hour cancellation or reschedule notice to avoid any charges to the client.
ASC currently accepts traditional Medicaid, Buckeye Health, Caresource, United Health, Humana, Amerihealth Caritas and Aetna. We also accept cash payments. At this time, we do not accept private insurance.
